34 Coming After 35?

Douglas, who measured 6 feet 1 ½ and 242 pounds at the Memphis pro workout day last month, is a converted outside linebacker expected to be drafted in the later rounds.
Douglas was largely unheralded until the pro day on March 24. He went from priority free-agent status to possible draft pick after running a 4.63-second 40-yard dash for a group of NFL scouts. That time was just 0.02 seconds off the fastest one by a fullback at the NFL scouting combine in February. Douglas was not there.
While Chris Davis, who wears #35, may have a leg up, no pun intended, it looks like I was right about the Seahawks probably using a later round draft choice to bring in more competition for the backup fullback slot.
I had thought Davis had completely healed from his latest knee injury, but the last paragraph of the article sounds like he's still on the mend, unless it's purely a precautionary measure:
Chris Davis, the Seahawks' fifth-round pick in 2003, has been on injured reserve with knee problems the past two seasons and might be limited in offseason workouts.
While Douglas is fast, and seems to excel at blocking and catching, there's one thing in his bio that really concerns me...his hometown is St. Louis, MO!!!
